Winnie the Pooh may be a silly old bear, but the events of the 2018 Disney film, Christopher Robin, have some very common undertones to Matt’s personal life relating to work, mental health, and self-realization, as he tells a story that has taken nearly three years to complete.
The last remaining Disney Store in the Greater Pittsburgh area will officially close its doors for good at the end of March 2021. Matt reflects on visiting one of his favorite childhood shopping spots one last time and the nostalgia that the trip brought.

As I get older, the more I tend to understand the nostalgia factor. Aladdin, Toy Story and The Lion King brought so much joy to my childhood, and I can only hope that they do the same for children today and in the future.
This was the first time I’ve had the privilege of returning to the parks with my parents since 2005, and my goal was to make it my best trip yet!
People always say that Disney trips are a different experience if you’ve gone previously and are able to experience the parks for the first time through somebody else’s eyes. I can speak first hand to this, as my first trip with my girlfriend was absolutely magical. The idea that those same feelings could come back traveling with both my brother and his girlfriend, had me so insanely excited.
