Disney Team Names to Rock Your Fantasy Football League (Updated for 2024)

Disney fans rejoice!

We’ve got you covered with a list of the best Disney-inspired team names to take your fantasy football league by storm.

Ah yes, the final week of August into the first week of September. This is the time of year that always makes me want to prematurely sing Christmas carols because, to a Pittsburgh native like myself, this truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

Football season, and more importantly, fantasy football season, is right around the corner!

The element of managing a team and betting on different players is a such blast, but one of the most fun aspects of every season comes with choosing my team name.

For the past few seasons I have made it a point to bring a fun Disney twist to my squad through my team name to keep everything in my life on brand.

If you’re looking for a clever Disney Team Name, I’ve got you covered!

Fantasyland Footballers

My personal favorite name on the list, I’ve used this name as a mainstay in multiple leagues over the course of the past few seasons.

Being the nerdy graphic designer that I am, I even developed a custom team logo that has stayed consistent since the implementation of the name.

That choice was all the more satisfying when I won the championship, declared “I’m Going to Disney World!” and took a photo wearing my custom shirt in front of Cinderella Castle for all of my league mates to look at until the next champion was crowned the following season.

Lion King Zazu It’s a Small World Continuous Loop

Blitz A Small World

Being from Pittsburgh, I know that defense wins championships. With this name my team did just that.

Bring the blitz and rush your opponent en route to a championship whilst paying homage to the classic ride “It’s a Small World” - Just don’t make all of the lesser teams listen to the song on repeat.

That’s just mean.

Mickey Mouse March Continuous Loop

Mouseketeer Madness

This one is a no brainer if you love the mouse. A simple, yet effective, reference to The Mickey Mouse Club, a team with this name will be singingCome along and sing our song and join our jamboree / M-I-C-K-E-Y / You will lose to me!” to their opponents in no time.

Peter Pan Red Man Continuous Loop

Neverland Football Team

Controversial? Maybe.

Highly topical while playing off of a storied franchise changing its name to quite possibly the least creative name imaginable? Absolutely.

Your opponents will never know what made the red man red, but that may be for the best.

Lion King Scar I’m surrounded by idiots continuous loop

I’m Surrounded by Idiots

Have you won multiple consecutive championships? Are you so confident in your team to take this kind of a dig at the rest of your league mates?

This is one name you surely have to back up with some kind of success. You’ll feel like a king for sure, but remember how it played out in the end for Scar…

Finding Nemo Just Keep Swimming Continuous Loop

Just Keep Winning

Your opponent will definitely be looking like Mr. Grumpy Gills when you proclaim “Just keep winning, just keep winning!” after a victory. At least you’re motivating them to do better, right?

Tom Brady DeVil

That’s it! Tom Brady Devil, Tom Brady DeVil.

(Oh, Roger [Goodell])

If he doesn’t scare you, no quarterback will. Deflate the balls and wear the Uggs for Bill. Tom Brady. Tom Brady. DeVil.

Little Mermaid Scuttle Dinglehopper Continuous Loop

The Dinglehoppers

Maybe you know less about the fantasy football subject than you’d like to admit. Even if you have no clue what you are doing, power through it and, at the very least, name your team with confidence.

Goofy Kissing Football

How to Play [Fantasy] Football

Remember those sports-related shorts featuring Goofy from the 1940s? Whether you are just starting out or have been in a rut for years, maybe it’s time to call back to our favorite Goof for some advice that may lead to some Disney Magic.

Winnie the Pooh and friends cross bridge in the Hundred Acre Wood

100 Acre Win

If your team is just so dominant that the competition is literally miles away, why not strut your stuff with this rather fitting homage to Winnie the Pooh and friends. And don’t forget to remind them on draft day that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Goof Troop

Are you one to tinker with your lineup 1000 times up until the very last minute before kickoff, only to realize that your original lineup would have provided the most optimal scoring outcome?

Learn from your pivoting mistakes and own up to being a Goof.
