Introducing Love of the Mouse Multimedia, A Disney-Inspired Creative Space
As we near our almost three-year anniversary of Love of the Mouse Podcast’s inception, I think about all of the amazing people that I have had the pleasure of connecting with through this amazing platform. What seemed like a pipe dream at the time has become so much more than that in such a short amount of time.
But somehow, someway, this random guy who more often than not stumbles over his words as he rambles on about Disney managed to build a following.
Although the show has been relatively stagnant for a good portion of the past year, a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes to ensure that the brand that we have developed continues to grow.
We will continue recording podcast episodes and keep up with the blog periodically, but we will be shifting gears quite a bit with the launch of the rebrand, and thus the name change to Love of the Mouse Multimedia. Although, I will always make time to record spots or make appearances on other shows when requested, as I absolutely love talking about Disney with pretty much anyone who is willing to listen.

New Year. New Look.
I’ve loved the ride that we have taken for the past three years, but have known for a while that something new would be on the horizon. I wanted to start fresh, so the first step was to refresh the logo.
Released a few days ago on our social channels, the new logo keeps the similar Mickey Shorts element from our original concepts and gives it a fresh, modern take. After I had made the announcement with a side-by-side comparison tweet I had a funny realization that I can’t get out of my brain.
I literally did exactly what people have complained about Disney (and other classic brands) doing over the course of the past year, specifically in regards to logos. I really hit the mentality of stripping down the playful elements for a more clean and corporate look perfectly. And I honestly could not be happier!
Graphic Design is My Passion
As many of you know, my true passion in life lies in the art field, more specifically, graphic design. Ever since I was a kid I have always dreamed of one day working for the House of Mouse in some capacity.
Though the older I get, the more I realize that truly seems like it will only ever be just that: a dream. That doesn’t discourage me by any means, though; it just means I need to do something differently.
Something to feel like I am actually working for Disney while still staying close to home in Pittsburgh.
Custom Apparel for Pop-Culture Fans
Now that I have been working from home exclusively for almost a year, my wardrobe consists primarily of Disney-inspired graphic tees, many of which I have designed myself.
Well, who am I kidding… That wasn’t something that began during the pandemic.
With that said, what seemingly started out as creating simple designs for my independent TeePublic shop has grown into a relatively small freelance business, which is how I plan to continue to develop the Love of the Mouse brand moving forward.
Not only for myself but for anyone who is looking to create custom & engaging Disney items: shirts, hats, masks, mugs, or pretty much any other items you can slap a design on.
If you can dream it, I can do it.
I say Disney items because that is where I’ve found the most success to this point, but for folks who are in need of other services that aren’t necessarily Disney-related, I am always willing to take on new projects as well.
Collaborating with Disney Content Creators
Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous Disney podcasts and small shops to develop logos and other designs.
I also have partnerships with both Capture the Magic Apparel and Main Street Magic Apparel and frequently create new shirt designs for both companies.
The absolute coolest feeling is seeing people sharing photos on social media exclaiming how excited they are to sport their new merch that includes one of my designs. I may not be able to be in the parks as frequently as I’d like to be myself, but seeing something that I have created there makes me even more ecstatic.
Multimedia Creative Services
What many people don’t realize is that I am pretty well-rounded when it comes to multimedia as a whole, but the design has always been my specialty. My full portfolio can be found here.
Services that will be offered through Love of the Mouse Multimedia are as follows:
