I love making others look good.

Starting a Brand From Scratch
So, you want to start your own business, podcast, blog, vlog or any other entity that requires some sort of identity?
That’s excellent!
I highly recommend that everyone finds a way to express their creativity in one way or another, even if you don’t consider yourself to be the creative type.
All too often, though, I’ve seen even the most creative people make the same boneheaded mistakes when launching a new platform.
Those mistakes almost always lie in the realm of poor branding and an overall lack of brand awareness.
Your brand matters. Like, a lot.
It’s the personal cover to your metaphorical book in a library oversaturated with similar content. While the old adage says “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” I can damn-well tell you from personal experience that I am going to skip right past something I’ve never heard of if the cover art doesn’t immediately draw me in.
This sentiment easily translates into the digital realm as well, maybe even more so than before; with thousands of podcasts, blogs, vlogs, and small shops available at the tap of a finger, it’s so easy to make a quick pass of judgment when the artwork does not draw you in immediately.
This becomes especially true when so many creative outlets focus on the same general topics - seriously, how many more Disney podcasts can there be? - it’s even more important to stand out amongst the crowd.
Right, Powerline?
A Good Logo Is A Good First Impression
When I started the Love of the Mouse Podcast I had absolutely no audio experience, and honestly no idea what I was getting myself into.
I enjoyed listening to a lot of other Disney podcasts, but ultimately knew I could do better because none of them had the high-quality, professional look that I knew I could immediately bring to my own platform.
And I was right.
When the podcast launched I received so many messages about our logo and how it perfectly embodied the Love of the Mouse theme.
My sense of brand awareness helped the show gain a following pretty quickly.
Our first few shows were rough, to say the least, but people listened because the show LOOKED good.
Not many folks in the podcasting world (let alone the niche Disney podcast community) are professional designers by day, so it can be inherently difficult to create awesome artwork to stand out in the ever-growing digital world if it is not your forte.
Affordable Logo Design Services
That’s immediately where I can help you launch your brand, or, at the very least, take it to the next level. You can submit a consultation here to get in contact with me about your next creative endeavor.
I’ve worked with many folks in different creator communities to create logos, apparel designs, podcast art, Twitch streaming graphics, or custom illustrations, my favorite thing from starting the Love of the Mouse platform is helping other content creators look good.
Clients Who Love Working with Me
What’s even more important when launching or refreshing your brand is making sure that your following is still able to find and easily identify you.
I’ve worked with countless podcasts and other organizations to develop clean and professional branding and corporate identity.
Another big mistake that we see all too often is a lack of brand cohesion across different social media platforms. It’s great to show a more personal side with a photo of yourself in your profile picture, but in many cases, especially podcasts, your audience will not actually know who you are outside of your name.
So when you’re just starting out I highly recommend working with us to establish a look that is immediately identifiable across all channels. That way if someone enjoys following you on Twitter, it becomes much easier to find you on Instagram or YouTube.
With that said, make sure that you have a plan for each of your different social platforms, and don’t simply push out the exact same content to each network.
Hopefully, these tips have inspired you to get creative! Though if quality design skills don’t come naturally to you, make sure to reach out to us for all of your creative needs and we will be glad to help take your brand to the next level.
